Ah, answers and mysteries (more of the latter, I admit). But if Lilith and the Creature already know each other, well, that raises questions while giving clues. Or at least I hope it does. I don’t know about you, but I’m beginning to think that Lilith isn’t a particularly nice person.
While I have an outline of where things are going, and where this will go once the mystery of the library becomes clearer, I’m finding the characters developing in ways I didn’t expect. I suppose that’s a plus in writing each one as I draw it, rather than scripting specific dialogue in advance. Kirby is becoming more assertive, Connie is tougher than I planned, Don is somewhat more likable than I planned. More soon. And more answers on the library in the upcoming weeks, I promise.
I have a question for the readers. Would you prefer to see an ongoing serial story, with new stories starting like new books and as great places for new readers to jump on? Or would you like to see more stand-alone or short episodes (around 5 strips each)? I did those teen vampire strips a few weeks back, which were the sort of “stand-alone” things I do plan to do to fill in spaces and when I have a comment to make on the world of literature that falls outside of the main story. Anyway, I’d love your feedback.
