I don’t want to say too much about the things Kirby is talking about, or why he wants to do them. See those ads over to the right? If I use any key words, it’ll fill up with lots of ads for this sort of thing. But if anyone needs a kidney, Kirby may just be desperate enough.
You probably can’t tell, but I did this one in a slightly different way. The black ink used to draw the comic (except for the lettering)? Real ink. On real bristol board. It was fun to hand-ink for once. I might do “special event” comics like this in the future so I have an actual piece of art rather than a digital file. Something to save or to sell.
Maybe you could auction off the artwork to help Kirby afford dinner.
